Ahoy-hoy

I’m a writer, producer, and consultant based in California. Currently I serve as Editor at Large for Esquire where I tell stories about everything from art theft to the science of getting good sleep. As a consultant I help companies hone media strategies. I also invest in startups both as an angel and LP.

Spectacle Media

I co-founded Spectacle Media in 2017. Our first offering was as a fully illustrated experimental print magazine that paired speculative fiction writing with originally reported non-fiction articles focusing on diverse topics ranging from universal basic income to high-fashion cosplay.

I’m intensely proud of the work I did with Kevin Hale on this project. Here’s a few excerpts. If you’d like a PDF or physical copy of the mag, get in touch via my contact page.
